The metal piece on my nike hat got corroded? What can i do to remove the corrosion?
The hat was in water for such a long time, that the metal nike piece got corroded? Its my favourite hat! How can i fix it?|||It isn't corroded. The decorative metallic paint has been removed. Other than re-spraying a metallic paint, it can't be "restored".|||if it's real metal i'd suggest mother polish and fine steel wool.takes rust of chrome pretty good.

How do I get yellow stains out of a Nike white dri-fit shirt?
Okay, I play soccer, and I use Nike white dri-fit shirts for my home games (I just got new shirts for the upcoming season). So, when I folding my laundry and noticed yellow stains going around the bottom of my shirt (front and back). I didn't spill anything on the shirt. I need to clean my shirt before the season starts because I don't want to run around with yellow stains on my shirt. Help will be appreciated!

I'm looking for a reliable source to give me the general breakdown of the coast of production for a pair of nike shoes (preferable from a sweatshop in Indonesia). Nike itself may not release exact numbers because it's part of an overall business strategy. But I do know that the worker making the shoe only receives about .04% of the cost of the shoe. So a $100 pair gets the worker about $.40 a pair.

How do you completely remove pink fingernail polish from a new pair of white Nike shoes?
My Algebra teacher spilled a container of pink fingernail polish on her counter top which got all over her the pair of her new white Nike shoes. What current running shoe is most like the Nike Huarache made in the '90's with the neoprene interior?

I'm about a 7 handicap, 190 pounds, 5'11'' and could probably hit the 2 hybrid 230 and the 3 hybrid 210 - 215. I have demoed one and again, the difficulty of hitting them is based on experience. I found it pretty reliable with a fairly big sweet spot and forgiving so if that's what you are looking for, I recommend it.|||It depends on who is hitting them. I hit a 2 hybrid about 195 yards in the air. I may hit the Sumo SQ2 a little farther or I may hit it the same distance. I'm 5'7" 165 pounds with a slightly above average swing speed. Someone with Tiger Woods swing speed would hit it maybe 70-80 yards farther give or take a few yards; or not. Basically, the distance would be different for virtually anyone who hits them. Nike hybrids from my experience are quite easy to hit, although I did have difficulty hitting the CPR3 1 hybrid consistently.|||Experience.....swing speed.......quality of contact.....All variables that will be factors.....There s no such thing as a hard and fast distance. What is the deal with the new nike uniforms?
What is the point of wearing a uniform for a game or two? Plus these uniforms are butt ugly. I hate the Organ duck's uniforms which are design by nike also. What is the point to all of this??? To me it is a huge waste of money.|||Its just another way for Nike to get their name out there. They were pretty popular last year so there's no reason why they wouldn't do it again. How do I go about designing Nike sneakers?
I don't mean like Nike iD, I've done that before but I mean actually collaborating with Nike to design a colourway for a pair of their sneakers, say an Air Force 1 for example.

How do Nike shoes communicate with your ipod?
We've all seen those Nike + things that can tell you how far you've run and how fast and can track your run. How do they communicate with your ipod? Is it through bluetooth and you have to use an adapter in your ipod? Also, how reliable is it? I know it's probably not as good as a gps system, but is it still pretty good?|||Basically, there is 3 things to it. First of course is an iPod. second is the receiver that connects to the bottom of the iPod. Third is the thing that is hooked up to your shoes. While running, the thing in the shoes sends information to your receiver that is connected to the iPod. Than the information will be shown on your iPod screen. I don't know how reliable it is but it seems to be a big seller so I'm guessing it's pretty good.

i was just wonder if they had the nike+ shoes (made for the sensor) for kids sizes cause i really really want to start to get in shape and do workouts and use this to guid my way im about size 5.5|||I'm not sure about child sizes but you should be able to get an adult size 5.5.

I have the nike plus kit and Brooks shoes and I have this thing called a shoe pouch www.shoepouch.com it attaches to your laces and the nike chip goes inside. Are any teams going to make their Nike Pro Combat uniforms their regular uniforms?
I know 90% of them terrible, but a few of the Pro Combat uniforms were better than the ones the teams normally wear (eg, Oregon State, VT). So can they switch to those full time or is NIke only letting them be one-off things?|||there are no such teams.|||The major Div 1 schools with rich traditions, will only use them as one-off things for special games or commemorations. the smaller schools will be more apt to adopt the Pro-Com uni's. But, I do feel little by little, elements of the pro-com uni's will become subtle tweaks to the traditional uniforms. If you looke at Florida's uni's, the base uniform this year looks very much like the pro-combat uni they used 3 years ago, with fewer accents.|||I hope not. Not only are they terrible but I believe if you need a fancy uniform to get noticed you need to play better football.|||I Kinda Don't Want My Team ( Missouri ) to use it for every game Only For Kansas and Maybe Homecoming game they should be used for|||highly doubt it

How can I fixed a popped air bubble on my Nike shoes?
I have the Nike 180s and a tiny sharp stick at a local park made a tiny hole into the air bubble of my Nikes' soles. I heard that Nike is horrible about their one year warranty. Looks like Nike has taken all information about shoe repair off the net since googling "popped air bubble Nike" returns no credible results despite decades of popularity of the Nike shoes.|||Buy new ones and never pop the air bubbles again.

What would look good with white nike basketball shorts?
I want to wear my super-comfy white nike basketball shorts to the airport tomorrow, since i am leaving at 4 am and would like to sleep on the plane. what could I pair with it that wouldnt make it look totally awful?|||Wear it with some tennis shoes (Converse would be cutest and most comfy) and a tight fitted t shirt. The tighness of the shirt will make it look not so sloppy. I would wear it with layered shirts to make it a little cuter. Maybe a cute lacy tank top under a plain t shirt. You could also wear a graphic t shirt and tennis shoes. I think that's what would look cutest.

I just bought a 08 edition of a pair of mids Nike Airforce ones on ebay but I just read that they are often made fake, I am somewhat suspicious because I got them under 60 dollars.

I presume Kool aid is some kind of drink. Use a solution of white wine vinegar on the pink stain and flush through with copious amounts of water and dab with an absorbant cloth. DO NOT RUB THE STAIN.

How can I prevent my nike dunks from creasing at the toe?
I wore a pair of nike dunks onece and I noticed that they already started to crease at the toe. I have another pair that I had for a year and look horrible. Nikes are too expensive for this to continue happening. How do I prevent these unsightly creses from forming on my sneakers?|||stuff them at night... go to walmart or target, they have ones you stick in your shoes when youre not wearing them thatll keep the creasing to a minimum... its what i do with my forces and ive had them since june and they still look brand new (after cleaning them after each time i wear them and washing the laces lol)|||Ok this is the trick that you do with Nike's. You are suppose to wear your regular socks and then get a second pair or like cloth or something and put it where the crease is. I did this with EVERY pair of air force ones that I have owned. It hurts you toe but this was the only way to keep it from doing this.|||You can go get Forcefields at Footlocker. They're around 10 dollars or they might have raised the price. It works pretty good. It helps not crease your shoes. Or you can cut a piece of cardboard and put it inside of the toe. Or stuff it with socks.|||TRUST me. I know all about that. I went into a little phase where all I wore is Air Force Ones, which crease like crazy as well.

Should Germany have accepted the larger bid from Nike over Adidas to outfit thier national team?
German federation turned down a larger bid from Nike to sponsor thier National team, sticking with the home Company Adidas. Thier relationship with Adidas goes back 50 years.
Personally, I dont see Nike as making great Soccer gear. I still look to Adidas and Puma when I am looking for quality and tradition.|||i think germany are right to stick with the native sports giant, adidas. afterall, adidas is a german brand and germans, of all people, should take pride in donning a jersey made from their own company.

What is Nike's responsibility in the Vick situation? How thoroughly do companies investigate spokesmen?
I have read that Nike had a differently worded "morals" clause in their contract with Michael Vick. Did they word it differently because they had investigated him and knew there could be "issues" down the road? I can't wash the short with hot water, because it says wash with cold water only. I've tried using Clorox bleach free but it didn't work.

So try a anti-bacterial detergent or body soap and maybe some fabric softener Also try looking for info on what foods or drink cause body odor.|||you should wash in hot water anyways... polyester won't shrink... and use a heavily scented detergent like gain... then even if your shorts start to get a bit ripe nobody will notice because they will still smell like detergent...|||When you wash your shorts, at the rinse cycle add 1/2 cup of white vinegar,to the wash. When you put them in the dryer, the vinegar smell will be gone and also the stink. Vinegar is an odor eater..|||Baking soda in the wash is another odor neutralizer. If all else fails try something antibacterial like teatree or cedar.

What are good Nike shoes to wear to prom?

if your date has a blue dress, try to incorporate the blue in your shoes.

How can i protect the soles of my vintage nike air jordans from cracking?
I bought some Nike air Jordans from a charity shop, they're original 80's by the look of them, which means the air foam on the sole is starting to crumble and crack as i wear them. Is there any way i can prevent them from breaking before they are ruined? Serious answers only please, no 'darn that's a shame!' type comments.|||Unfortunately, and I really do hate to tell you this, there isn't much you can do once the process has begun. For a long time - like about a decade - shoe enthusiasts commonly believed that the best way to store and preserve sneakers was to keep them in dark, dry places. This idea emerged because of observations of shoes "yellowing" over time (which they combatted with limited exposure to light) and because of anecdotal evidence involving many people digging out long forgotten shoe boxes only to find the shoes covered in mildew (usually the result of storing them in warm, humid places). Like anything, people took the protective measures to extremes and many began storing their shoes with silica packs to minimize moisture during long term storage. However by removing all the moisture from the air, people learned that foam midsoles begin to crumble and glued seams dry out and open much, much faster. Granted, these things will happen in time anyway, but these less-than-ideal long term storage conditions greatly accelerate the process. The bottom line for you, unfortunately, is that since your shoes have already begun to crumble, there isn't really much you can do to rejuvenate them. You can either wear them and enjoy them for what you have or put them away and wear them sparingly until they're completely dead.

I have uploaded the data from my run onto the nike plus software but when I click to open a link to sign in on the website it won't let me. None of the links from the software seem to be working. The first is an adidas preferred player program. Go to adiplayer.com and send them an email. If they believe you can promote adidas, they may let you guys join. This is kind of a long shot.
The other option is for your coach to set up an account with fromuth.com They usually let coaches do this. You can get major discounts on nike and adidas among others.

How to tell difference between Nike Mercurial Veer and Nike Mercurial Veloci ball?
I had a veer ball, which is the cheap $20 version. Its white and blue. Yesterday I found a ball, which is also a nike mercurial version, but its heavier, its not completely white, its more of a yellowish hue, the material feels slightly different, and it shoots like a proffessional ball pretty much. Theres no markings on it, so I don't know what it is. How can I tell what kind of ball I found?|||Well, here are the noted differences, from what i know:

How long would it take to order Nike iD in Nike Studio of NikeTown London?
I'm planning to design a Nike iD in Nike Studio of NikeTown London, but I just wanna know how long would it take to order one? 4 days? 5 days? 1 week? How long? How many grams does the nike bauer supreme one 95 senior stick weigh?
I am contemplating if I should get the ccm crazy light or the nike bauer supreme one 95 stick. I would get it in a senior and I know that the ccm crazy light weighs 405 grams but for comparison I would also like to know the weight of the nike bauer. If you know anything please let me know.
