What is the deal with the new nike uniforms?

What is the point of wearing a uniform for a game or two? Plus these uniforms are butt ugly. I hate the Organ duck's uniforms which are design by nike also. What is the point to all of this??? To me it is a huge waste of money.|||Its just another way for Nike to get their name out there. They were pretty popular last year so there's no reason why they wouldn't do it again. I'm a Miami fan and last year Miami got a lot of criticism for wearing the Nike Pro Combat jerseys but stores were having to put in special orders every month to keep them in stock. Some of them are hideous and I'm not big on Miami's this year but Nike does a lot for college sports so they can pretty much do whatever they want nowadays.
