The chips that is placed in the sole of your shoe has no way to recharge it. It lasts for a long time, just dont where the shoes in everyday life. The chip will think it is running and turn itself on. After a while the chips shutsdown by itself. I read that there is no way to charge the battery, you just have to replace the chip. the chip is said to last as long as your running shoes do.
