Are Nike and Athena Nike two different people, or one in the same?

For those who are going to say, "This belongs in the mythology section", Hellenism is a religion. Just because it's not your religion doesn't mean it's mythology.





Continuing with my question, I've read a few sources. Some say Athena Nike is one Goddess, others say Athena Nike and Nike are two different Goddesses.





Your opinion on the matter? And sources, if possible? Thank you.|||They are two different goddesses. Athena Nike is simply Athena victorious - she is sometimes portrayed as holding a statue of Nike. Nike herself is a separate being.|||Thank you!

|||Different. From what I gather Athena is the goddess of wisdom and Nike is goddess of victory.|||They're two different people. Nike and Athena were close friends though.
